Dog-ridden delves where no fox dares

Watched waxing moons arrive full, dancing before me at Solstice

Saw ass jaws grasped like axe hafts halving armies single-blasted

Cursed castes, sighed alas at wasteful capital

Asked only clear water capfuls, received ashes

Lash-washed and disgraced by Mammon’s actors

Before Rimmon, kept God’s name breasted

And it is not enough to save me

I touch soft ribbon, His white robe’s rhythms

Cast stone last-living Anakim, impossible temples Djinn built them

Kept kin safe from Satan, bread alone sating

Life without dread’s surcease, death at blessing’s end

An unleashing, my leash offed I drift to fog

With my brother on ancient rampart once marking kingdom borders

Seeing outlines of older hillforts carved out by light of a higher order.
