How I make mine
Mace to the face William Wallace style
Though I like to think I’m more William Blake in rhyme
Well, you take a guy named Mike with a brilliant mind
Give him ideas above his station, teach him to try, give him eight lines
Like he was late to class, like Rex ate his project, like he was caught fighting
Man, you get more when the man learns to toss his own flies for life
Catch more fish than fed five thousand in the Bible
Waders over my trousers
Masked up like Vader going house to house
I’ll take it all away like Bowser
Did all the drills with the same Mauser, the one I’m proud of
Spent all my allowance on this fine endowment
Confident I’m good good; safe. Safe as houses if it goes sour
Shakedown, bussdown fake clout, silk gown with snake sneaks
Fakeout, table striped like we’re about to spring penal time, breakout.
