Rising heat
Boiling peat the bursting bogs like geysers
Spit out old King’s bones, chariot wheels, rune-banded axes, coins wearing lesser Caesars
Land subsumed swallows itself
Like a burning man tastes two drops of melting nose before final tastebud goes
It sinks and sickly swallowing sounds like last of bathwater. A long, dry shelf
And the wall of bones which were the denizens of now-arid seas
Disease disease disease the priest
Always dragons from the east, fleas
On rats. Increase in size and quantity of Mosquitoes, creating superbugs
Reign of death
Abounding funereality
