Ken Grant, Crowley et al, while tapped into a so-called magickal stellar current conducted rituals whose operations effectively laid down red carpets, ports of earth entry for misshapen forms from beyond the course of the zodiac. In the wake of OTO and affiliate lodge workings, an already porous reality was left riddled with entity-sized holes.
Likely, such was not the primary intention of those groups. Ken Grant devotes extensive page space to the notion that the results of magickal operations are like blunderbuss scattershot, blasting randomly in all directions, consequences willed and unwilled.
Tricksters abound in realms betwixt. Doubtless demons seduce the minds of men as angels. Would not chthonic beings from wastrel plains hell-bent on our destruction, deign to appear as benevolent spacemen with life-saving technologies. Either way, the entity invasions may be a side effect of their workings.
